The majority of impressions at Mount Lawley Orthodontics can now be acquired digitally – no more moulds!

Your dental arch may be digitally scanned using a “wand” style technology to produce a 3D image of your teeth within a matter of minutes. These scans coupled with our digital photographs enable you to immediately view your teeth and discuss an appropriate treatment plan with your Orthodontist.

We can also have them digitally 3D printed by our Laboratory in order to manufacture most appliances such as plates and retainers to a high degree of accuracy. They are also immediately available to Aligner companies, to get your treatment started as soon as possible.

This Technology eliminates the need for messy Alginate Impressions which can feel like a mouth full! 3D scans are also faster, cleaner & more accurate!
