An update on Ongoing Orthodontic Treatment throughout the COVID-19 pandemic

17/02/2022

With COVID-19 cases on the rise in Western Australia, Mount Lawley Orthodontics continues to be committed to the ongoing care of our patients.

Our team keep up to date and implement the latest guidelines and protocols as recommended by the ADA in order to keep our Patients and Staff healthy.

As from next week, 21 February we are limiting the access to our practice to patients only. Reducing the number of people in our building is part of the plan to limit the COVID risk for both Patients and Staff. Please present for your visit at the rear entrance off the carpark on Astor Lane and seek direction from our reception team. They will check you in for your appointment and advise you of the new COVID protocols.

For parents and guardians who have questions about your child’s treatment, please advise the check-in team on your arrival.

Braces and Invisalign patients-  your Doctors are routinely focused on maximising the efficiency of your appliances in order for them to be effective over extended periods of time. This should minimise the number of appointments you will require with us over the months ahead.

At the height of the pandemic wave, options to repair breakages may become limited, so making careful selections on what and how you eat will keep your appliance intact. This results in continued ideal tooth movement.

Telephone advice is available during opening hours- if you have concerns about your appliance or treatment, phone us on PH 93716088.

Alternatively, email us some photos of your appliance if problems occur- follow this link to our youtube channel on how to take good images:
